The TFPX series rotary distributor is essentially an electrically controlled diverter. Typically installed at the discharge of bucket elevators or on top of bins, it receives material from upstream processes and precisely feeds it into designated target bins through an internal rotating mechanism.
The number in the TFPX model designation indicates the number of discharge chutes, covering a range from TFPX4 to TFPX20, allowing users to select based on the actual number of bins to enable multi-species, multi-formula material storage.
The TFPX rotary distributor has a clear and reliable working principle, mainly consisting of a geared motor, drive shaft, guide chute, housing, guide rail, and limit switches.
When in operation, operators issue commands from the control room. The geared motor drives the shaft, which rotates a movable guide chute along an annular rail inside the housing. The chute is equipped with spring-loaded cleaning brushes and sealing rings to ensure tight contact with the distributor plate. Once the chute reaches the preset position, the limit switch is triggered and immediately cuts off motor power, achieving precise positioning. At the same time, the electromagnetic brake of the motor and the mechanical self-lock of the gearbox provide dual protection, ensuring a secure connection between the chute and the lower housing and forming a stable discharge channel.
Material from the upstream elevator then flows smoothly under gravity through the chute interface into the designated bin, completing the entire automated bin-switching process.

The machine features a compact structure with a small footprint. The electromagnetic brake combined with mechanical self-lock of the gearbox ensures dual protection, locking the chute firmly in position — even under material impact, it will not shift easily.
2. Prevents material cross-contamination:
Precise anti-leakage devices are provided at the material joints. Once the chute is positioned, a tight seal is formed between the discharge opening and the plate, physically preventing material from leaking into adjacent bins.
3. Self-cleaning function, minimal residue:
Both the chute and dust pipe are equipped with cleaning brushes that automatically scrape accumulated dust from inner walls, preventing mold or clogging caused by long-term material residue, and ensuring hygiene and safety over extended use.
4. Extremely low power consumption:
The TFPX series consumes very low power — common models from TFPX4 to TFPX12 require only 0.55 kW, and even large models do not exceed 1.1 kW, making energy costs almost negligible.
5. Excellent sealing, suitable for dusty environments:
Key components, electrical parts, and drive mechanisms are equipped with sealing devices to prevent dust intrusion. The machine is available in dust-removing and non-dust-removing versions, effectively controlling dust emission.

Dust collection needs: For dusty environments, choose models with dust removal function.
Pipe connections: Inlet/outlet diameters of φ200, φ250, φ300 available; ensure compatibility with elevator and chute dimensions.

Inspect the condition of chute seals and cleaning brushes after each shift; replace if damaged.
Check gearbox oil level every 300 hours and change lubricating oil according to the manual.
Periodically check limit switch and actuator rod positions to ensure accurate stopping and correct signal transmission.
Keep the machine clean inside and out to prevent dust accumulation that may affect heat dissipation and electrical component sensitivity.
If the chute rotates unevenly, open the top cover and adjust the chute rotation center to align with the main shaft.
