Ring dies are critical components of the pellet mill, a core piece of feed production equipment. Their manufacturing quality directly impacts feed processing efficiency and quality. During the forging process, high-quality alloy steel is used as a blank. After heating, it is passed through large-scale presses for die forging or open forging to initially form the ring die blank. This process effectively refines the grain size, creates a dense structure, and eliminates casting defects, resulting in a product with high strength, high wear resistance, and excellent toughness, significantly extending the life of the ring die under high-pressure and high-wear conditions.

Compared to direct machining, forged ring dies offer a longer service life and more consistent pellet quality, making them the preferred process for high-end feed ring die manufacturing. Rigorous post-forging heat treatment further ensures their comprehensive mechanical properties, meeting the stringent requirements of the modern feed industry for efficient and reliable production.
